Lacquer Wall designs - Faux Japanning. Using our paint alchemy skills we have formulated various designs to create beautiful high gloss lacquer wall designs. As with all our finishes we do not use oil based mediums for environmental reasons. Our Lacquer finishes therefore are totally colour fast and will remain looking stunning with no fading. Our lacquer finishes have the essence of the past as they feel like the Japanning lacquers of the seventeenth-century with soft vibration and soul. We also incorporate some of our decorative walling finishes beneath the lacquered surface. Lacquered walls are full of drama and not for the faint hearted be it client or craftsmen. The process is extremely labor-intensive but they create unforgettable, dramatic rooms.
